Gaming thumbnail title

A big, glowing 3D title is what people see first in a thumbnail. Pick a gaming style, type your title and export a PNG you can place over your screenshot.

Then choose an effect below, or press the button to start with the first one. Freebies are free to use, with a small Platipix mark on the PNG. See plans

How to do it

  1. Pick a gaming effect below. Freebies are free to use; Premium ones can be tried in the Studio too.
  2. Type a short title (two to four words read best) and open it in the Studio.
  3. Choose a bold font and keep the text large. Thumbnails are viewed small.
  4. Export a PNG with a transparent background, then place it over your game capture in your editor. For a ready 16:9 image, export with a solid background instead.

Tip: Keep the title to a few words and pick a colour that stands out from the game footage behind it.

Pick a starting design

Try Pixel Hero for a retro-arcade look, or Cyber Arena for a glowing sci-fi title. The free ones come first; the Premium ones can be tried in the Studio and need Pro or Studio for exports without the large mark.
